Description:
The Imaginary Laboratory was an experimental pedagogical space for creative exchange, built with students from the eleventh-grade arts class at IED Gimnasio Sabio Caldas.
Its main objective was to generate a critical dialogue around current issues of the local social and cultural context (Bogotá - Colombia, Barrio Arbolizadora Alta, Ciudad Bolívar locality), exploring the collective and individual imaginaries of young people who are about to graduate, who during the process assumed critical positions, acute reflections and expressed their feelings from their own experiences and way of seeing the world and reality.
The laboratory was divided into a series of activities where diverse artistic media were explored, among them creative writing, sound media, narrative constructions, tours of the neighborhood and the configuration of visual cartographies.
Participants:
Students of the 11th grade of the IED Gimnasio Sabio Caldas, Bogotá.
